NSV all over the place! Haven’t been able to wear these VS tanks for while and now they fit again 🙌🏾 Also it feels so nice to see my features more prominently- cheek, jaw and collarbones are all making appearances once again after a long hiatus 😂 I am feeling so much more confidence in myself and my body. It is really nice to see the changes- I haven’t really seen them until this past week. My whole body composition is changing and it feels so SO great!
Staying the course and finding what works for me has been huge. I’ll have lost the same weight (or more) in 7 months that initially took me 1.5 years because I didn’t have the fitness/nutrition/science knowledge I have now. I’ve found nutrition that fits my lifestyle, workouts I actually enjoy doing and actually invested in my health for me and me alone. It’s by far the most healing choice I’ve made in my entire life.
Off to slay workout 5/5! I did it! Made a small commitment and followed through 🙌🏾 Have a great day everyone! Love you all ❤️
A sloppy climb from last week... I filmed it to show my babes @chriswojchik 💕 and I'm glad I did! It's awful 😂😅 I know it's been a looooong time but I definitely need to slow down and control these movements better! I've never watched myself climb before, but now I'm excited to watch my #Progress ! #BetterThanYesterday#IndoorBouldering

"This is me in the same pair of size 16 jeggings, 4 months apart with over 35 kgs difference. 💗
This week I gained 1 kg and to most people it would be a failure or disappointment but throughout this journey my body has changed every single week! What I remind myself is HOW FAR I’VE COME and to keep on track by implementing my daily habits for my new healthy lifestyle! ✨🙌🏼"
Einstein said: “It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer.” We must adopt and keep that mindset. We cannot let one obstacle, one “near-miss” turn us off the path. Keep at it. Persist. Resistance is futile.
Are you someone who persists or or do you give up?
Running is my passion...I knew I was surely going to have fun! Yesterday was a total blast. I was fully aware running between 1pm to 3pm was going to be challenging owing to the heat and the humidity.
Running at that time slot was obviously higher effort and I totally embraced the challenge. I couldn't reach the target I had in mind but all the days of consistent practice under the sun and the high mileage and the speed workouts paid off.
Was easily the fastest runner during my time slot. Completed 30 kms. .
I wasn't gonna post a specific dada's day post because I'm usually a bit of a scrooge... But since Leo has been around I've turned into a bit of a softie (I wheep at movies now).
I love being a Dad, it's the most rewarding thing I've ever experienced and every day I try to be grateful!
Since having Leo, my priorities have changed too. I used to desperately focus on getting 'shredded' and looking amazing on the beach. I used to get depressed when It didn't happen and all kinds of bulls**t.
Although I'd still love to look like actual Superman, now I focus more on health, and being in the best shape both mentally and physically that I can, to take care of this little guy!
I want to be able to support him and keep doing all the fun things we do now, even as we get older.
So I'm grateful for him changing my mindset, and truly bringing joy and meaning to my life.
So I'll raise a glass of milk (and cookie) to all of you other parents out there whether past, present, future or never (or you're even one of those crazy cat people).
Look after yourself peeps.
And if you feel like sharing, I'd love to know how you're priorities have changed since having kids!
We just finished our testing weeks at the Shed.
We assess a variety of mobility, strength and power relevant to each persons goals during our sessions
⠀ @andreagrava1 at it again with some killer progress over the last 12 weeks+: ⠀
🔥Long jump: 151 > 162cm
Single leg hop ⠀
🔥left 87cm > 120cm ⠀
🔥right 102cm > 133cm ⠀
Triple hop ⠀
🔥left: 292cm > 392cm ⠀
🔥right: 305cm > 422cm ⠀
Bench marking is important as you get to:
➡️Track progress - quantitative (numbers) and qualitative (quality of movement) ⠀
➡️Analyse effectiveness of program ⠀
➡️Track whats happening with things the program isnt focusing on ⠀
➡️Guide future programming - strengths, weaknesses, technique, timing, rhythm, coordination ⠀
➡️Practice output under pressure / testing / competition environment ⠀

Teamwork is never leaving anyone behind, and finding solutions together ❤️ Like when we brought a baby to zip-line and climbing activity .. 😅 But we made it through the woods 🙌🏽
AU REVOIR // • Catch ya later alligators 👋🏼 .. I’m off to England 🏴, Switzerland 🇨🇭 and France 🇫🇷 for 18 days with my family. See you when I get back just in time for @gcmarathon 😬

THIS // • If I could capture this moment and repeat it again 28 days time.. I would be one very happy marathon runner 😍💃🏼
👣 An amazing and comfortable 37km cruise around Capital City Trail with 9 other awesome runners. We laughed, we joked, we high-fived other runners passing by (actually, I think @agbeckett was the only one who did 😄), we saw the sun rise slowly (it was a spectacular sunrise!) and we had fun! THIS! This is what long runs are all about! 🙌🏼

Looking down all serious when in reality she’s about 2 seconds from biting my face...🐶 She’s getting quite big for only being 8 months old!
Also glad to have these great shorts from @tenthousand.cc — whether you’re working out, running or keeping up with a new puppy these shorts are an excellent choice.🔥 #sponsored#TTintervalshort#betterthanyesterday
Hope you all have a great day and anyone going to Denver Pride this weekend have fun and be safe!🙏🏻
