Three days ago this sample workout came out. When I first started my fitness journey at 321 pounds there were so many things I couldn’t do. Burpees being one of them. Everything would hurt, especially my knees and the move was hard!
Now having a move that I can’t do feeds my determination to get better. I don’t like being told I can’t do something ( #rebel ) especially if it is my weight/body as the reason why.
So back to three days ago when our trainer brought these lightning bolts out of her pocket. 😳 Say what!? I could jump and kind of bring my knee in but couldn’t get my feet back out to a plank before hitting the ground.
Tonight, my third time doing it, and it looks better than it did. I still need to improve my form and work on keeping my body in the plank position but in three days! #progressisprogress

The team was founded on 2018, and today, they had their first awards ceremony. It was very inspiring to see how these amazing women were celebrating teamwork, commitment and excellence!
Real talk- I didnt want to work out tonight. It was a cardio day and I wasnt feeling it. But, I made a commitment to myself. And because of that, I did it. And guess what-if felt freakin GOOD! Once I got going I felt great! I was so glad that I didn't give into my moments of "not feelin it". I am so far from perfect, and I've got a long long ways to go, but I'm proud that I didnt give up today.

Day 31 of IMAZ training- 🚴♀️+ 🏊🏻♀️
Easy recovery spin and 🌬 💨 💨 💨 was the theme of the bike today. Cross winds and headwinds (and I guess a short tail wind) make us stronger riders, right? Plus, I got to ride with some awesome 👭 and that made the struggle more fun!
And since I was SUPER LAZY this morning and 😴 instead of going to 5am 🏊🏻♀️ , I got to make it up at 8:30 tonight. That’s almost my bedtime! It took A LOT of will power to go to the pool so late but I got my 3k yds in so all is right in the training world. Now to 🚿 🧼 off the chlorine and get to 🛏 because tomorrow morning I have an appointment in the Oval Office. 😬Let’s do this! 150 days til race day. #imaz#triathlete#swimbikerun#theyseemerollin#justkeepswimming#commitment#biggoals
