Good morning. Fabulous Sunday morning 🌞 I ran for 5km🏃♀️💦 I had skipped running for a week cuz I was so busy and tired. I found in the article I read recently that those who stay active are more likely to be happy. It made me motivated and I feel like I wanna make my running routine back again! 😊

Exactly 2 years ago today I started my running journey after a significantly heavier individual than myself on the previous day ran past me when I was on an evening walk. That first morning I ran to see if I could spot Mr. Biggie...of course the agenda has shifted to competing against me overtime. What a journey it has been. Fun, challenges, reasons, excuses, learning, a couple of marathons, injuries...but most of all, running has made me realize that there is nothing that anyone cannot do. It just boils down to how bad you want it and most importantly what’s your mindset. I can choose to run the same route for a year and the only thing that will change is not the route but my speed, my enthusiasm, my pace, my happiness - all because the mindset has been shifted to one of discipline, consistency and self-belief. And such is the same in life. In employment. In business. In family. In chasing dreams. Write that book. Seek that promotion. Start that blog. Visit that country. Lose that weight. Save that relationship. Fix that bulb. Start that hobby. All begins and coincidentally also ends in the mind. My mindset has shifted from large hairy goals to the steps I take everyday. In running. In business. In family. In life. In love. Here is to another year of asking myself - DO YOU REALLY HAVE TO GO FOR THIS RUN? Keep Moving You! .
